Is this Allowed?
By Maggie Gao

Injustice in simple terms enhances the idea of inequity.
They say to let people who's ruled by unfair treatment get some awareness.
But how?
This “how" is what brings the broader idea of injustice.
From a different perspective, it reveals the absence of speech
That is needed in times to stand up for such injustice
That is preserved around the world, and is reached
Inside the brains of youngsters.
To have a brighter America can also mean to destroy it.
To paint the world with rainbows could also mean to hide the darkness.
It's funny how an alternating perspective can bring such ideas.
Now what about culture?
Taught by teachers and displayed throughout the world,
It's known to be something so festive and exciting.
But now it's taken up a different idea.
Culture is now a way of putting people down through beliefs
And hit them with waves of brutality.
To engage in one would also make an individual face the destructions
That's constructed by bombs planted by other cultures.
It all seemed like a battle, a competition that doesn't confirm who is right or wrong,
And yet there's a victorious group that ascends from the ground.
The cause of this is unknown,
But is this allowed?
